Invisible Children

Invisible Children is a non profit organization founded by three college drop outs in 2003. They went to the Congo in Africa, and what they discovered astounded them. They learned about the Lord's Resistance Army, controlled by Joseph Kony, and what the LRA does. The LRA has been kidnapping children and forcing them into their army for 25 years. How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?: I donated lots of old things like clothes, books, and toys.

If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?: I would make smoking illegal everywhere in my community, put more recycling bins out, and make an animal shelter.

What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?: 1. Lord's Resistance Army and Joseph Kony's children armies need to be stopped (Invisible Children)
2. Children taking care of their parents and siblings
3. Better orphanage conditions
4. More schools for children in third world countries
5. A safer living environment for children living in third world countries
6. Help and reach out to abused and bullied children
7. Animal rights

Short "About Me" section: I love to read, write, and act. I want to become famous in Hollywood. With that fame, I want to alert everyone about children that are not as lucky as most children in the U.S. I want to help kids in third world countries, as well as kids who are bullied and abused.
