Just recently my mom found out she was pregnant again after my dad returned to Iraq... What a celebration it was to be adding a new sibling to the family. She was having a pretty good pregnancy until about March when her blood pressures became very high. She went in April for a blood pressure check and they ended up having to perform a emergency C-section. She was only 34 weeks pregnant. - How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?
- By cleaning up the beaches here in Hawaii and restoring energy!!! My siblings and I are going to go through all our books . We are going to pack them all up and send to my dad in Iraq. He's going to have them handed ot to the children over there!!!
- If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?
- 1. I would help provide more shelters for all the homeless people on the island.
2. I would make sure we have crews of people to help clean up the beaches everyday.
3. Teach everyone more about recycling and conserving energy.
4. Have a Earth / Energy Day once a month.

- 1. Have no more war and bring all of our soldiers home including my dad.

- My name is Megan and this is my mom and my account. We are living over here on the island Oahu, Hawaii . I am currently a straight A student at Wheeler Middle School @ Wheel Air Force base. My dad is in the army and he is currently deployed to Iraq. Our goal as a family is to teach and help others learn about things you can to save our future. Also, to make world peace around the world. Bring Our Troops Home , Especially my DAD!!! My dream one day is help find a way to stop Global Warming and to help get all the homeless people off the streets. Here in Hawaii there are so many homeless people and it breaks my heart to see how many live on beaches. We are so far away from the mainland that I think people kinda forget how expensive it gets and there are only so many jobs on this little island. Hopefully I can help with change!!!! I would like to say thank you to a few messages that I have gotten about sending packages to our troops and children in Iraq. I did get to talk to my dad today and he was excited that we were getting another 2 packages ready to send this week. My siblings and I this past weekend spent our own money to buy school supplies to send to the children in Iraq. I have made my decision to do everything in my power to help our community , our enviroment and to help bring world PEACE. Living here in Hawaii is so beautiful. Under that beauty lays some really no so good sites. As you drive down a main road along the shore , you see hundreds of homeless families living on the beach. I don't get out till June 24th so still a few weeks left before summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been busy with school, charity events, auditioning, soccer and just finished volleyball! I made the Matrix soccer team which is thru AYSO but their 'competitive' team so I was shocked but so excited to have great coaching!!! I want to play high school soccer so I need to work very hard this season before I go to high school next year! Thanks for sharing!!!

- Hi, Megan! I hope your dad gets to come home soon as I know you miss him so, so much! I am really & see you are continuing the awesome work in your community! I still want to come to Hawaii someday so it would be great if we could meet! I was supposed to meet Miley but traffic was just awful, yet, my mom tried very, very hard! I had an audition for a Disney pilot before the "meet & greet" so we would've made it if traffic would've been better but that's LA traffic! Out of the 8yrs I've been going to LA from San Diego for auditions & work ... this only the 2nd time that we have missed anything. My mom is so reliable & prompt that it was just unfortunate & not meant to be or we would've got to meet Miley. Maybe another time & place for that to happen! Getting ready to kick off the reading program and we have 8 new classes signed up so I am very excited! A few weeks ago, I got to meet Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens as he's friends with my dad so that was cool even though they beat the Chargers that day! Well, got to run to school! I am going to Magic Mountain one day the following week & we are trying to shoot a pilot so that will be a lot of work as it's been difficult to raise money & find some sponsors.
