If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?
If i were the mayor i would make changes in the less fortunate or nice parts of Phoenix. There are neighborhoods and areas that need improvement. Some of them are nasty, there are old abandoned building, trash, theres no trees or grass. I know they say there are people in other countries that are starving but what we fail to see are there are people down the street or the block that are being starved right now, and i just wish that we could make a difference or an improvement in these area's.
What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?
I have had a lot of things happen in my life that have made a big impact, so when im asked you know what do you want to do i just think, what did i need when i was struggling, what are they going to need.
1. I would like to help children with diseases, rather it be raising money, volunteering, writing or even visiting. My best friend died because of a disease called Cystic Fibrosis and i wish that i could have done more to help that.
2. When i was younger i lived in a shelter, While there i remember there were people coming in and volunteering all the time, we played sports, there were groups nice enough to repaint the entire building, we had clothing donated and people took time out of their days to come and make us dinner and im thankful i had somebody there, id like to be there for someone in that same situation.
3. Starvation is one im sure people say a lot, its a big thing, and it can be easy to improve, there our always food drives at school and in stores, theres food banks volunteering time to collect food our disperse it is easy theres no excuse for why people cant take the time to help.
4. Id also like to help abused animals, strays ones that are lost abandoned. I see lots of animals in my neighborhood that could use the help, we feed them sometimes we bring them home and keep them.
5.Going green, i hear it everywhere its not complicated, its as easy as the switch of a light bulb, non-plastic bags, reuse reduce recycle, even the simplest of things can make a difference.
6. Theres a lot of pressure in school, i went through a lot when i was there, theres this program that goes to schools across the nation called if you really knew me, and its made such a difference, theres less bullying and pressure, the kids understand you know aside from what you see, theres more to a person.
7. Participate in or help organizations that help single mothers.
