How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?: At my high school we have this club that i'm the Vice President of called the Students Against Violence and every year we have a ralley at our local football field. We walk from our City Hall to the field and have bands come and play and alot of fun stuff wih our classmates who choose to come . The point of the club is to teach kids about the dangers of student violence such as the use of guns and bullying. It has been a tradition at the school for 10 years and all began because of the school shooting at Columbine in 1999. Our school is trying to stop the violence and promote a safe environment in the halls of the high school. Alot of kids might not be interested in our club but we have to keep it going because violence in schools is growing at a rapid pace and needs to be stopped.

If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?: promote more ways to help the environment
have more community events so we can come together

What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?: stop animal abuse; homelessness; try to help make world peace come true
global warming; student violence; stop world hunger; help the economy
stop any abuse faced by people today
basically anything that goes on in the world today is important

Short "About Me" section: I'm 17 years old; almost 18 in about a month
I am an active student at my high school;
I love music; danceing is my passion
reading is my escape <3
i got into college! lol
I believe peace is possible.

Columbine 10th Anniversary

hey guys!
today is the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting at 11:10 am in Colorado.
please help remember those lost and those who survived the tradgedy by having a moment of silence for them.
