My friend and I have been raising money and using it to buy fabric to make blankets that we are going to donate to our local women and children's homeless shelter. But we have only raised enough money to make 5 blankets. We would like to make and donate at least 10 blankets to the shelter. We've raised money by holding lemonade stands, saving (most of) our allowance, and collecting money from family and friends, but it took a long time to make just a little bit of money. I know a lot of people think they are small and just one person doing one thing isn't very important. But to all you people who think that, you are wrong. All those small things add up to a lot. Small things can make a BIG difference. Whether it's going green or helping a homeless shelter, every little action helps. So everyone, please, be good people. Help others. Save the earth.
