Hungry Heart Soup Kitchen

One place that our organization has been is the Hungry Heart Soup Kitchen, Great Bend, KS. Unfortunately I did not get the chance to go. However, my friend did and she made many new friends while volunteering there. She also met a man who performs healings on people. How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?
I didn't.
If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?
I would encourage more volunteering such as highway clean ups, soup kitchens, building homes for the homeless. I think that for a community to unite and come together the best way to do that is to do something good for someone else and open new friendships between people.
What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?
World Hunger, Littering, Homelessness, Poverty, Pollution, Getting people to go Green...There are many many things in this world that people would like to change, its a never ending list really. Everybody has different views on life and how it should be lived.
