Papua New Guinea Trip 2

Well, I guess its time I wrote about my second trip to Papua New Guinea. My youth group had decided that for this years camp, we would go over to Papua New Guinea to help run a camp for disadvantaged kids. We would go for 10 days and we would also help at the school being teachers and performing little drama's for them. Birthing Kits for disadvantaged mothers in Ethiopia

Hello again :D

Today I spent my morning helping prepare sterile birthing kits for mother's in Ethiopia :)

It was organised through my church, all it required was 2 hands and some of your time, without these birthing kits, many of the babies and their mother's could die due to lack of sanitation and without the support.

We packaged 2x rubber gloves, 5x gauze to clean the baby, 1x Scalpel and 3 pieces of string to tie the umbilical cord.

Getting My Good On

Hi Guys!

My name is Natalia Nuutinen and im 16 from Australia.

I have been sponsoring Jeremiah from Papua New Guinea for 3 years, since I was 13. I had to work 37 and a half hours at McDonalds to be able to pay for a years worth of education for him. I did this knowing that I was making a huge difference in his life, a light in the darkness for him when you live in the highest crime rate capital city in the world.
