Profile Information

What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?
Animal Cruelty
Short "About Me" section
I am a certified scuba diver.
I have a ham radio license.

How I make (or have made) a difference:

SAFETY IS MY GOAL!

I watch USA Missing, news reports, and America's Most Wanted.

When you need me I will always be here.

I bike to work every day, rain or shine, day and night.

I bike everywhere. I can drive, but biking is my primary way of transportation.

When shopping, I bring reusable shopping bags.

At work:

I work for Safeway (http://www.safeway.com) as a courtesy clerk (bagger). When customers bring in reusable bags from any source, I use those bags.

I help collect donations for charities. I run the table where if you donate $1 you get a treat. (I can't guarantee that all Safeway stores will be doing this and for those that do I can't guarantee that they will be doing it every day).

I only run the trash compactor and cardboard baler when they're full.

I watch out for everyone's safety.

On one occasion a small fire broke out. I put it out.

I help with Code Adam when needed.

I help recycle plastic and cardboard.

I try to use as few bags as possible.

Note that Safeway also owns the following stores:

Vons and Pavillions (both in Southern California and Nevada).

Carrs (most of these stores are in Washington State).

Randall's and Tom Thumb (both in Texas).

Dominick's (in Illinois).

Genuardi's (on the east coast from Pennsylvania and New Jersey to Delaware).

I handle recycling at home.

I am a member of Los Altos Hills CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).

I am a volunteer at Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad in Los Gatos, CA.
http://www.bjwrr.org

I am a volunteer at Hidden Villa Farm in Los Altos Hills, CA.
http://www.hiddenvilla.org

I am a volunteer construction worker with Habitat for Humanity.

I used to be a volunteer special event first responder.

When scuba diving, I leave nothing but bubbles.
