Stepping To Love

I actually am in the process of planning a 5K walk for One Way Farm, a home for beaten and abused children, in my hometown of Fairfield, Ohio. One Way Farm is home to 10 boys and 10 girls, and it costs over 1 million dollars just to house them all for a year. Some children come in w/ only the clothes on their backs, literally. One Way Farm runs on private donations and fundraisers, so I believe they are in need of my help.See More

What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?: 1) Abortion issue. Everyone deserves the right to life.
2) Stereotyping.
3) The use of "retard" and "gay" as insults.
4) More education opportunities for those in 3rd world countries.
5) Aid for those in need; Haiti victims, poverty stricken, etc.
6) Those who need cannot afford health care for surgeries or check ups that could in turn save their own or their child's life.
7) All aggressions of war changed into appeasement to discover a peaceful world.

Short "About Me" section: I'm Sarah and I'm a junior in a private high school. My family has it's struggles since my dad has been laid-off; but my mom is the "leader" of a small organization called "The Giving Circle" and I assist her. Recently, we raised $3700 for a little girl who needed heart surgery when her family could not afford it. I donated $10 to the relief in Haiti; threw a birthday party where all presents went to St. Joseph's Orphanage; and threw a party dedicated to One Way Farm (a safe haven for children who were beaten& abused), guests bought presents& gift cards. Each had an amazing success. Anything is possible.
