- How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?
- Im not sure yet. One of my best friends and I are going to go see the Hannah Montana movie on the 24th and while we are hanging out we are gonna brainstorm of things we could do to help out in our community.
I do know though that my mother that sunday is going to go sing to special needs children at our church. They started this new program where they have volunteers to help out and take care of the children while the parents are in church service. Without the volunteers most of the parents wouldn't get to enjoy church, plus it is an amazing opportunity to help the lives of young children. It's great to see my mom's face after she is done singing to them and how happy it makes her feel. I'm so proud of her,
- If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?
- Haha just so happens that one of my dad's best friends is the mayor of our town and his daughter is one of my best friends.
If I were the mayor I think
1.) I would help clean up the local park because some of the kids in our town have really vandalized it and have written curse words all over the playground. Little kids who go there to have fun shouldn't have to view all these words written everywhere.
2.) I would organize a fund-raiser for special needs children in our community.
3.) I would help raise money for our local hospital.
- What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?
- 1.) I would love to see tons of the kids that are in foster care find loving homes.
2.) I hope that someday that the children in Africa will get cured from AIDs.
3.) Homes sponsered by individual towns that can house people who are homeless.
4.) Lower the crime rate, especially that of shootings.
5.) Get homes for animals who would otherwise be killed in shelters.
6.) Settle the oil crisis so that we don't have to depend so much on other countries around the world.
7.) Help Cancer patients find hope.

- My name is Sarah and I'm 13 years old. I love sports and music. I can play a little bit on the guitar and I enjoy singing. I'm really into movies and television. I enjoy shopping and am really into fashion, except when my mom stays in the same store for five hours and brings me along haha.
I love my two brothers and I have wonderful parents. My friends are the best! My dog Kelsey is a golden doodle but he is so big i think he has some lion and horse in him too haha.
I'm just a girl who loves to have fun and to help others when I see a need.
