Every Friday, I volunteer at the SPCA/Humane Society with dogs. I walk them, play with them, love them, and ultimately just spend time with them. I've been doing this for six months, and I LOVE it. How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?: To be honest, I just recently found out about Global Youth Service Day. Now that I know about it, I will definitely be celebrating it every year by helping out things and people I am most passionate about.

If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?: If I was the mayor, I would want to stop the violence in my community. There are tons of gangs, and many kids get involved. I would create free after school programs filled with activities that kids could go to in order to distract them from going in a bad direction. I would make sure that the stores around here are affordable enough for every individual to be nourished correctly.

What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?: 1) World Hunger
2) Animal Abuse
3) Human Trafficking
4) Child Abuse
5) Water and Air Pollution
6) Rape
7) Drug and Alcohol Addicts

Short "About Me" section: I'm Tanya, and I've just recently discovered what I want to do in this world. I know that I was born to help animals, and they are deeply important to me. I know that I also want to travel the world to help both animals and people. I WILL. I will also get my family involved, even my kids that don't even exist yet.
