HELP HAITI!!!!

Hi, it's been a while since I've been on this site.

So, we all know about the earthquake that happened in Haiti right?? Well now we have the chance to do something about it!! My school had like a competition. See, we have teams (for 7th grade). I'm on team 7A. There's another team, 7B. And so our team (7A) raised $385.00 or more. Our team won!! Why I got my good on was to help my community. When I shovel my neighbors driveway (it's winter here) I like to see her reaction and just helping her. Giving food to the homeless I still do once in a while. It feels good. To give something to people that they don't have. It's cool helping people. It doesn't matter if it's just in the community or town, or the world. Anything you do to help is good. Why I get my good on.

I get my good on is because there is so many people who need help and there's so much we can do to help. I want to make the world a better place. I was just born to help. I joined a club in my school, called "the seed of hope". We help kids, who have problems in their school works, in the elementary school near our school. Even though we help them once a week and only about half an hour a time, I think that I learned a lot from this program. Because I have to think about what is easy for kids to understand the hard work, and also trained my speaking skill to explain my thought to them. First Blog

I am volunteering at an elementary school, and i love seeing the kids every day. I am helping them learn more, and help them focus on their studies more and more. I help out at their little events.

The first one was in October for Halloween. It was called, 'The Harvest Festival' and the kids completely loved it. We had little game booths', candy corners, and photo takings, and even a snack bar. Help Haiti

Many of you know about the terrible tragedy that happened in Haiti. There are many ways you can help. As cheesy as this sounds, even if it is just a small donation, it can make a difference. I donated what I could. At my school, you could donate however much money you want. I donated $5. The bracelet I got symbolises that I helped out. I feel proud that I made a difference.

Haiti is suffering and everyone should help. They did nothing to deserve this. Lets try to make Haiti a happier place now.
