Sò che potrà sembrare strano ma non dovremmo comprare animali selvatici come serpenti, iguane ma anche criceti, pappagalli, canarini, conigli. A tanti bambini piacciono questi animali e pensano che a loro piaccia giocare ma devono anche sapere che vanno trattati con rispetto e la realtà comunque è che questi animali non stanno bene in gabbia. In our school there is a Student Representative Council = SRC and we wrote a fairly long letter to them saying that we're not happy that there are NO recycle bins in the school and A HUGE amount of perfectly good recyclable, reusable paper is going to waste. HATE seeing paper thrown in the bin and not recycled. When ever i can i try to pull it out of the bin (even though that kinda looks funny.)

We both did the 40 hour famine for World Vision but instead of going off food for 40 hours we went with out furniture and our computers cause we use both a lot in our daily lives. We raised $20, which i know isn't that much but every little bit counts. It was a while ago we did this but I forgot the post it.

The is a busy road near our house and there is always a HUGE amount of trash that gets thrown there so we clean it up ever now and them. It's hard to walk all the way home with these huge black bags of trash. We also clean up the beach when we can. We probably don't do it often enough. in 2011 we hope to do help clean up the roads and beaches more.

We did have a pic of the bags of stuff we got but i can't find it:) ooopps. We'll post it when we find it.

We have given a lot of our old toys, books, clothes and other stuff to an organization called St Vincent de Paul Society Charities. They have shops all over TAS that people can donate their stuff to. Then they sell at a very low price for people who can't afford the new stuff. We also donated our old beds.

We have been raising money for the UNICEF Pakistan Flood Appeal.

For about 12 weeks we baked and decorated gingerbread cookies and sold them at a local store. At the end on 2010 we reached out goal of raising

$1000. Actually we made it over 1000. We raised a total of $1122.15. It

took us over 55 hours in total to make the cookie dough, cut the dough

into the right shapes, bake the cookies, decorate the cookies and sell
