Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen

My Goods

Today I learnt how to perform CPR. It is really interesting and Im hoping to Learn a bit more first aid. I am also hoping to join st johns ambulence cadets because You lear first aid and teach it to younger members off the public. Also you help out at big events so if anyone gets hurt you can help :)

What do I think of service-learning?

When I think of service learning I think of kids and teens getting together to learn and help the community. What I would do is try to spend more time outside and less at home. I see so many kids my age on the computer and I find myself in the same place as well. I think we should be doing things to help our bodies, mind, and our life. hey y'all

I'm new to get ur good on, today I'm going to help with 4&5 year olds at one of our local schools and then tonight I am going to the youth club which I help to run for 8-16 year olds.
Recently I have raised money for the Haenophilia Society by selling Christmas cards at people's doors we raised nearly £400 =] we have done this for 4 years now.

Nursing Home

My school has a club called the Arbor Nursing Home club and i happen to be in it. In the club you go to the nursing home and play games and dance with the older people. it is so much fun just to get to do this knowing that hey are having as much fun as you are. Some people really make me mad because when you ask them about helping out there response is always the same, "I dont have time" or "What have they done for me?". It's so stupid because so many people put their personal live's out there and help so many people just so they can have it thrown back up in their face? SALAVATION ARMY

My school had this whole week of Thanksgiving off and the first three days of my break I did community service at a local mall. I helped out with this organization called The Salvation Army. There is an Angel Tree located at the mall with names of people who are less fortunate than others during the Christmas season and might not get toys at all. Going Green

Hey guys, this is Alexis. i am here 2 talk about going green. We really need to be taking a part in our earth. Walk or bike to school instead of using a car. Or if u want to use a car carpool with ur friends so there will be less driving. Instead of taking a shower for 15 minutes take one for 5 or 10 minutes instead.
