so last weekend I done something so rewarding. In Friday we packed Christmas hampers for all the housebound and sick in our parish and it was loads of fun. On Saturday we split into groups and gave them out ans this was one of the best things I have ever done. All of the people were so thrilled with the hampers and reacted like we just told them they had won the lottery, just to know people were thinking about them. I'll deffinatley do it again next year!!

This world has been very kind to us humans and for us to treat it like its nothing is incredibly not fair We need to make sure people know how serious this is. This was a beautiful world until unkind human actions toke over this world is no longer that way. I would change the ways of cutting down trees. I very much understand that we need trees, paper, oxygen, and more. So we should instead of just cutting it down if people have the courage and strength to cut down an innocent tree then they…

U may think that the only way to save this earth is to go green that is incredibly not true!
TEENS HERE ARE OTHER THINGS U CAN DO TO MAKE UR CHANGE!
1. Help young girls who have low self esteem feel good about themselves
2.Send letters to companies who cut down trees and instead just tell them they should plant a tree after they cut on down or give them some of UR ideas of what they should do to pay back for the tree loss.
3. Go join your local Boys and Girls Club if not…

It’s the season of giving, and the perfect time to Get Ur Good On!! I <3 volunteering with my family and you can ask your family to join you when you Get Ur Good On. Remember guys, you’re never too young to inspire other people to do good. Ask them to come with you to pack food at a local food bank. Maybe, they can help you volunteer at an animal rescue shelter or with a Habitat for Humanity project. And don’t forget to let me know what you’re doing by uploading your pics, videos, and…

If you ever get the chance to do this, or anything like it, I highly suggest it. This kind of volunteering isn't behind the scenes like some, this is right up front and in the action. Today I experienced helping many people and seeing the direct results within minutes. We took parents of children that could not afford holiday gifts around the Salvation Army set up (props to them it was
veryorganized) of toys grouped in ages. These (mostly women) were so touched that they were able to get…

Finally at the age of 17, I have come to realize that I am a much more productive person when my room is clean. It sounds kind of lame, but when my room is a
mess, I don't get anything done and I procrastinate a lot. I say things like "I'll do it later"
but I don't do it later. I just end up making a
bigger mess... But when my room is clean, I feel like I can do
anything. I actually do my homework. I finish things I start. I knit
a lot of hats. I'm a…

This Christmas season, Macy's is donating $1 to the Make a Wish Foundation for every letter to Santa that you bring in to their stores. I got really excited about this idea until I realized that a bunch of high schoolers would not want to write letters to Santa, anyways we were already selling so many things at school for the holidays. I really wanted to follow through with the idea though and emailed the principal at my elementary school about the fundraiser. She then forwarded it onto the…

Everyone knows what Cystic Fibrosis is. (If you don't, it's a hereditary disease that affects ur whole body causing progressive disability and often death.) My thought is that since Miley got a tattoo of the CF Foundation slogan, we should help raise money and support the CFF, too. I'm trying to find out whether there's an annual CF walk where I live.
The tattoo Miley got is very meaningful, no doubt she thought about it for a while b4 she actually got it. The tattoo reads, "Just Breathe"…

We could all use a hug every now and then. Juan Mann has inspired me to give free hugs to people, and this coming week my friend and i are going to make "Free hug" signs and go to the local mall, and see if we can make a difference in anyone's life for that day. So EXCITED!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to let other s high school students in on two secrets: First, as teens, we are powerful beyond measure. We have the power to positively impact the lives of other young people and, in doing so, raise the spirits of an entire nation. Second, the more we give, the more we get. By enriching the lives of our peers, we enrich our own lives.
As teens we are uniquely positioned to be socially inclusive toward those less fortunate. I have the opportunity…

So, my last blog post was about, me volunteering for this charity program at our school. SEP or Supplementary Education Program. Well, I just signed myself up for two more of those next year. I acutally enjoy it. It's fun to like help out and stuff. :)
The down side to that...I got sick twice in a like month. Like, for real. Once, after what happened in my previous blog post and again a week after that. So yeah. That sucked. I'm kinda banned from Starbucks too. It sucks. But, I'm…

Today on youtube there was an event called Project For Awesome. Its been going on for 3 years the VlogBrothers started it. Anyone on youtube makes videos to give information about a charity. Everyone chooses what they want to support and they make a video about what it is and how to help out or donate. If you go on yotube and see a video with a thumbnail that says "Project For Awesome" on it , it will be a video about donating and helping out charities.

I'm here to tell you what I'll do at Christmas.
Well, I'll give the clothes do not give me more and give to children who need and will also give some old toys for poor children and the orphanage. I also think my mother must also buy a few things to give these children :D
