The Angel House: Where dreams come trrue ;-]

Hey guys!

In my town we have something called "The Angle House". It's a thrift shop at the Catholic church. Now, you may be asking yourself how a thrift shop REALLY helps people. Well... the shop is full of clothes, shoes, toys, baby supplies, dishes, pots and pans, && some medical supplies, that families might need. The greatest thing is... all the things in the shop have been donated.

Last night.. but my mom suggested that i donate that stuff to a hospital where my moms friend words at so thats what i am going to do :)

My first step.

Just sent a letter to my Town Council about how we desprately need a place for teens just to hang out after school and weekends, to keep them on a right path, no alcohol & drugs.

It's an amazing feeling to know you're doing something. And just reading all the things YOU people do, just keep me wanting to do more.

So, hopefully you'll be reading soon about my new achievements.

one chance

so there is a special boy that sits on the other end of my lunch table. by special i mean he had a disorder. and he sists by himself everyday, so today, i went over and talked to him. he really is nice and has good intentions. i feel so bad for him because no one will give him the time of day. i think everyone should give someone at least one chance to change your mind. they might surprise youu.

My Charity Work :)

I wanted to let everyone know how i have been getting my good on lately..

here is what i have been doing. Our church in London ohio every year does a giving tree at christmas time, my mom grabbed 3 tags and i grabbed 5 3 of the tags were for dvds i picked up 3 hannah montana dvds and added 3 hannah slap braclets to go with them then one tag was for a different dvd this other kid wanted and art set so we got that a blanket a gift card for food and one other item i forget but i bought hm… Continue

You know what I dreamed this night?

I'm talking with the principal on my school for do a GetURGoodOn club at there. Good idea, what you think?
Well, I think is a good start. But now my classes end. So I gotta wait for the next year. Blogging just to you know and for I always remember to my service with community - you know, good start generates good end. Let's make it work! ;)

snow clean up :)

im 16 and i helped out my grandparents by shoveling the driveway a few times. here in iowa we got about 6 feet of snow within the last 3 days!
they were so thankful. i was just happy i could help.

Yay :)

Well in the last few weeks I've .......

Helped out a girl without food or a home.
Picked up litter in North Carolina, while visiting family.
Recycled. Reused. Reduced.
Donated food cans.
Gave money for kids with cancer.
And gave money to the people outside of Giant Eagle with the red cans :)

I feel so good after all that :) Keep thinking of ways to help our planet!
