Angel Tree
Hi! This is my first blog post on Get Ur Good On.
What good thing am I doing?
I am saving up some money that I set aside for the Angel Tree for next Christmas. The Angel Tree is an organization that helps children that otherwise wouldn't get Christmas presents actually get something that they would like. Kaboom! (Building a Playground for Kids)
Hey guys, I helped out a good cause on Thursday May 13th, 2010 Kaboom! (http://kaboom.org/) They build playgrounds for Kids in communities. It's all volunteer work. We had about 200 people there to build a playground in 6 Hours. Everyone was split into teams and I was on the painting team. I painted picnic tables and table tops where we made games such as tic tak toe and dots and checkers. I also helped cover holes up where the cement was put so it would hold up… Continue
