Make November a Month of Service

Happy November!

I've always loved the first of every month. It feels like it's a fresh start and as lame as this sounds, I always make little resolutions of something to do every month. This month, I think we should all do some community service. Every Friday since freshmen year, I've done community serivce. No you don't get paid, but it's rewarding helping others.

why i wanted to get ur good on

I was on the miley cyrus website and I saw a video about get ur good on. Then i thought well if my role model cando somethig good and raise some money why cant I. Now i have been inspired to help my community and make my world a better place not just for me but everyon. Since I made a account I tryed to plant a tree but my dad said no Me and some of my friends have raised over £80 and w are also planning to do another charity fundraising. xoxox

Photography class today ... (Habitat for Humanity)

So today in that class my friends and I generated a list on how to help our environment and this is the list that we made:

collect soda can tops which can be donated to the ronald mcdonald house

pick up any trash that we see lying on the ground

take the time to recycle in the proper disposal

simply turn off the facet when not in use

turn off the lights when leaving the room

try to use more natural resources rather than consuming electricity

Today was different and I realized something

Limit Electricity Use

Today I started a new goal in my family. I want my house to not use as much electricity. I unplugged anything I was not using, and turned off all the lights not needed. Whenever there is a light left on and not needed, the person in my family will have to do a chore they usually don't have to do. This could help limit electricity because nobody likes chores :) But really, I like the feeling of helping our planet, and I hope this is one way we can save the earth!

YOUTH means us its means teens from 11 until 25.
People tell me everyday I cant make changes because I am 12! but I think differently YES WE CAN!
We can do anything as well as adults! We are as smart and as capable!

Just plant a tree..make a differnce

make a beatiful garden:)

dont litter and make our world a better place

walk dont drive

Day 1: Just Another day. Do what you can!

Is today just another boring day to you? Well you can make it more exciting by doing what you can to save the planet. Believe it or not, just unplugging a cell phone charger can make a HUGE difference. So stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and go unplug any unused items. You could potentially save the planet. Hopefully I can Blog what I'm doing to help every day, but some days I will be to busy. Today I Unplugged my cell phone, and iPod Charger. What did you do?

Recycle

Wednesday. What does that mean for you? Sure, school, maybe a game or something. For my family and I, it is recycle day. Tuesday night, we take bags and bags of paper, and bottles that could be recycled. My sister and I take atleast 6 bags each to my curb, and on Weds a truck picks it up and takes it to where it needs to go. Rock on Miley!

English Class Charity

Donating to charity has always been a very important thing to me . This year in english as a class we decided to work together to think of a good way to get the class to donate money. Me and my class decided to take a jar and every time we used "boring english words" we had to put 25 cents into the jar. At the end of each marking period, we will be donating the money to a charity.
