Bear Your Love
About a year ago my sister thought about a doing a project for kids. She came out with an idea!!! It was called Bear Your Love!
"Bear Your Love" is a service project created by the student trustees in Illinois Community College Board – Student Advisory Committee (ICCB-SAC.) The objective of this project is to collect as many donated new teddy bears on behalf of the Illinois Community Colleges.
All donated teddy bears will be given to Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
All donated teddy bears will be given to make sure that children that are patients in the hospital no longer have to spend a night in a foreign environment alone. And also to just bring a general sense of cheer and security to the children.
The teddy bears need to be brand new… these are children who are patients in a hospital with a very clean environment. Gotta follow regulations. :) We will also be accepting monetary donations that will be used to purchase more bears. This is a non-profit service project designed primarily for the patients at Children’s Memorial Hospital.
We will soon have a list as to where each school will be collecting the teddy bears. Also, if you’re not attending a community college, but would still like to donate a teddy bear, you can personally deliver them to chair of the project Sarah. This is your chance to give back to your community… for those who deserve get a little extra. Thank you so much! We truly appreciate any thing you have to offer. The children really are our future. Let’s realize and respect this and make an effort to be there for them in any way we can.
