Celtics Experience

Hey guys I just thought I'd tell you about a really cool project I got to do back in October! I was able to work with a group of kids in a really cool program that brought together kids with disabilities and kids that didn't have disabilities to show that we are all one. We actually got to go to the Celtics game and before the game and at halftime the kids got to play a basketball game on the floor! Of course it was an amazing experience being on the Celtics floor but what was the coolest part for me was that I was the coach of one of teams. I got to run with the kids down the court and tell them plays. The most amazing part was a boy in a wheelchair on the team my team was playing got a basket.. in the Celtics' hoop! Talk about a slam dunk!

I just thought I'd let you know because it was a really cool experience and I got to help out and learn about different disabilities. It really helped me realize that no matter what we are all the same.
