in my shool, there is a program which is all of students has to do it.
it's one of graduation requirements, so school makes us do it.
every students has to do good things, like charity for pool people, or be a volunteer or whatever about helping people and do good things.
we has to do it 20 hours. we have 3 years to complete 20 hours to do a good things.
well, so far i've done 10 hours.
i spent it with, helped the janitor cleaning classes in school. i did it 2 hours with my friends. and i felt good about it. i mean, the janitors has to clean up more than 10 clases. and you know how dirty is the class can be after several hours we use it. there are a lot of paper, and pencils, even garbage and food scarps.
it's disgusting, but well how about the janitors who has to deal with it like everyday?
sometimes we have to learn to appreciate people who does a lot of these things.
and the second time, i did it 8 hours.
i spent it with visited orphanage with my friends. we brought some foods, games, and money.
i really had fun there.
but we carefully not to talk about things the might not like.
first we talked and pray together, then we ate together and we talked again, shared our experience.
it was sad to see them, i mean, maybe they ever wondered what is like to be like us.
lucky.
maybe they ever wondered to have things they can't have.
loving and caring parents who will protect them.
but after all they are all the strong people.
and they should be proud of thet, that they can smile and chase their dreams.
i have a really good experience with this program.
and i'm sure will complete it to 20 hours.
my school name is Labschool.
so they named the program "labscare"
you can't just give some money to some poor people, but you have to involve in the event.
spend your time to do a good thing.
and for the prove that you've done the charity, the school will give you the book and you have to get the stamp from the foundation or whoever involved with this.
maybe some of you, maybe can propose at your school about smiliar activity like this.
imagine, if the whole school has to do a good thing for 20 hours in three or four years, it's not big deal.
and it means, there are more people who will do more great things, and helping people.

Intan Thalia
