HAITI & GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY

Even if only one person is reading this I'm gonna announce what I'm doing for Global Youth Service Day!

Ever since the devastation in Haiti struck, for some reason that really struck me so I'm taking some time to raise awareness so people don't forget to keep helping them out!

Kicking off a project I'm doing called "Teens for Haiti" to include charity with my love for my music I'm getting together a bunch of other teenagers to record a cover of the famous song "We Are the World 25 For Haiti" but instead it's "We Are the World Teens for Haiti"!!

I'm hoping that when I submit this for Global Youth Service Day that people watch it because I know that some only gave to Haiti when it was relevant and the way that media is.. stuff comes and goes! But Haiti should never go!!!!

I've been trying to do little things such as by the T-shirts that support Haiti at Armani Exchange (YOU SHOULD TOO IF YOU'RE READING THIS)!!

Anyways, I'm gonna post the song with a video that goes with it that has footage of the recording process and if I can.. hopefully projects that I hope to plan that will help directly aid Haiti!!!!!

I can't wait for this all come together & I hope this serves as a reminder to some to get a project together for Global Youth Service Day! It's never too late to start & the world needs our help so far!!

I'm going to go register my project at GYSD.org right now!!!!!

I wanted to redo the "children of the world project" because they did it with the initial recording of we are the world in the 80's but they didn't do it again! I couldnt figure out how to get the rights to the song though so I just gave up on that idea :) Good luck! I can't wait to see it!
