What i did with the SHRINER'S HOSPITAL money

As you may know, i raised $1,200. Six months ago, we had planned buy a Wii system from nintendo for Shriner's Hospital. It took us a while to raise the money, and during that time, the hospital was donated two Wii system! I was disappointed because that had been my goal for six months, but instead of whining and moping , I decided to call the Child Life department of Shriner's hospital, to see what they need. When i spoke to the lady in charge, she told us that they really need things for the kids to do in their hospital bed. She said they really want hand held games like gameboy's. So, today, since it was the thanksgiving's day sale, we thought we would get really good deals on them today so we woke up at 4:00 a.m. ! First, we went to wallmart, where we bought five Nintendo DS systems. It was a really long line, so we stood there for a good hour and a half. Next, we went to Best Buy. They had a HUGE selection of video games!!!!!!!!!!! We picked out 20 DS games that we thought looked fun and cool! That was a lot of fun:)
We then went to Target where we found a GREAT deal on portable DVD players, and bought seven of them, we also bought them seven pairs of Sony headphones for the DVD players. Overall, today was a MAJOR success!!!!! we got great deals!
