October 22nd, 2011 was Make A Difference Day. On this day we chose to open a library for under-privileged children in Philadelphia after collecting 3000 books. We even collected 700 items of clothing. All of this was valued at $25,000.
Before all that existed in the "library" were empty bookshelves. We cleaned these up, put in books, bean bag chairs, chairs, carpets, and curtains to make it a more inviting environment for the kids. We were warmed to see the kids so excited when they saw the new room!
The kids are now set on a path to academic excellence and success later in life.
