My Youth Service Day Project was helping a fellow dorm mate at job corps get his room ready for the big Department of Labor Inspection at Job Corps. We had to sweep mop scrub wax and buff the floor so that it would be shinny for the DOL Inspection. he was glad I helped him with the room because he is the only one in his room and he couldn't do it all by himself so i volunteered to help him.

Hey! My name is Cassidy Hooper and I'm from Mississippi. I'm a huge fan of Miley! I have Turner's Syndrome and Asperger's Syndrome. I want to raise awareness for people on the spectrum and with Turner's. I was diagnosed with Turner's a little bit after birth and Asperger's around 17 years old. It's difficult for me to make friends. I wasn't really social in school and part of that I had to do with my Asperger's. THe docotrs found out I had TS when they did a test called karotype. After the…Continue

2012 was an amazing year for me. I started an anti bullying campaign at my school, and we got so much support. On Youth Service Day, me, a few of my friends, some teachers, and the principal got together before school and put notes on every locker telling them that they were beautiful. Seeing their faces when they saw the notes was amazing! Then we talked to every…Continue

for a variety of tasks. especially in text tile mills, children were often hired together
with their parents. many families in mill towns depended on children"s labor to make
enough money for necessities .so lets join hands fight this .

Ever since starting FUNDaFIELD when I was 13, I have been exposed to worlds that are completely foreign to your average American teenager. I have wrestled with lion cubs in South Africa, been extremely sick in a small hut in Kenya, and been part of a presidential motorcade in Haiti. When I try and explain these things to my friends at school, or random people I meet, they have trouble understanding my experiences because they don't have any frame of reference for such foreign concepts. I…Continue
So I just signed up for this today. And so far I love what it does! Anyways, I wanted to let people know what my main cause is about and get some more ideas on ways to fundraise for it. Basically I want to donate to a research foundation to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes,in addition to raising awareness about the disease. I am in the process of setting up a display at the library near my house and conducting the first fundraiser (collecting scrap metal from pop cans and such to sell to the…Continue
