Global Youth Service Day 2011!
It’s time to get ready for Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) again! This year, GYSD is on April 15-17. I’ve been involved with GYSD ( a program of my partners at YSA) for a few years both through spreading the word and participating in projects. Last year, I did a project with the Make-A-Wish foundation and had an AMAZING time; watch this video about it.
I want to encourage you to get involved because GYSD is the only day of service that focuses specifically on young people and the good that they can do in their communities. Plan a project; you can find project ideas in the 10 Ways to Get Ur Good On for GYSD list or visit GYSD.org to find a project to join. Please share your pictures, blogs, and videos from your project on GetUrGoodOn.org. I’m so excited to see what you do!

Hey ya'll ! Today we had cleaned forest of our city and we joining to the "Do It 2011" project in Lithuania! I'm very excited to know that we contribute to projects, making our nature and future better! it''s very good feelings, that i'm felling now..it''s so good to see everyone, to cleaning same things. So i'm contribute to GYSD now ! and i'm very happy that i can help us by cleaning together!
