Support the Troops!

First, I’d like to thank everyone that got their good on for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! All of your blog posts and pictures are so inspiring. Veterans Day is tomorrow, so this month on GetUrGoodOn.org, we have lots of ways to help you Get Ur Good On to support the troops. I want to see your videos, pictures, and blog posts sharing ways you are supporting the troops in November. This will be the only time i will respond to you but this site is set up for children. Not really set up for you telling others about your opinions. I am sure the people in charge of this site would not mind hearing about children from other countries doing good things. You need to understand that the people who are in charge of this site does have the right to delete any comment deemed inapropriate especially when there are children reading what you post. This site was meant to give the young some motivation to do good in their communities no matter where in the world they are at. Your opinions matter just like ever one else's opinions but do that somewhere else, not on this site because of the kids that read these posts. I am sure if the people in charge of this organization did not like my posts they would delete them also. We as Americans do have rights, but at the right time or place. This is not the right time nor the right place. Just my opinion. So take care and hope you do not get your profile deleted totally.

Comment by David Brown on November 29, 2010 at 11:09pm: I know this is late, but i support the troops by remembering my own military experiences and giving thanks to these fine men and women who everyday sacrifice their freedoms, their personal lives, and even their own lives so we could enjoy our freedoms. Freedom comes with a price. Unfortunatley some people have made the ultimate sacrifice. Veterns Day is not only a way to thank all the Veterns that are still living but also is a way to remember those who have paid that ultimate price for freedom. The military is not an easy lifestyle to live. Being away from loved ones for long extended periods of time to go to some place where you know in the back of your mind it is dangerous. They do not call themselves heroes, they just think of it as a job. Many people put blame on the troops for going into war, it is not the troops or anyone else in the military that makes that kind of decision, it is the polliticians who most of them probably never even put on a uniform. The troops are there putting thier lives on the line everyday for whatever reason. So on Veterns Day and even on memorial day, give thanks to any Veterns that you know and also anyone that is currently in the military because they deserve at least that from all of us.
