Car Washing.. Again!
Okay.. so today (8/04/11) I did another car wash. But this time it was for something different. As I've said before, I'm a part of a group at school called One World and our aim is to raise money for a variety of charities whenever and however we can. At the moment in our school, we have a Romanian exchange going on with the 6th formers and the Romanians are over in England. So, basically xD my nan goes to a day care centre a few days a week. My dad has been involved with the people who work there and he's close friends with them now, and they are taking part in our towns 4 year annual carnival! Well, after the whole school helping, we managed to collect 117 shoe boxes! Its doubled since last year! It may not be many, but 117 children will be opening a present on Christmas day now, all because of our school :). We had to check them all and then today (25.11.10) we celebrated with a box of chocolates! We stuffed our faces! Haha (: Everyone deserves a Christmas as much as us, but sometimes, those who don't have luxury lives deserve it more than us who have warm houses. (:

Basically, there's this thing called Operation Shoe Box.. Or something like that :/
It's about filling up a shoe box with objects to be shipped off to 3rd world countries. I did 2 boxes and my mum did 1, we filled them with pencils, paper, small toys and toiletries. Kids up to 13 can get these boxes, and they're faces when they open them are priceless! One box can make a child's Christmas! Why not do one box? Fill it up with things and send it off, you feel so much better knowing…
