This video captures the fantastic "girls night out" that we had with our Sparkles cheer team for girls with special needs. We had a blast hanging out together at the banquet and dance the night before the competition, where we brought home the GOLD!

How did you celebrate Global Youth Service Day?
I founded a non-profit corporation whose goal is to inspire and empower high school cheerleaders to create squads including student with special needs.
If you were the mayor, what changes would you make in your community?
I would stress the importance of including individuals with disabilities.
What are the 7 Things or problems in the world you want to help solve?
My passion is to stop exclusion of individuals with disabilities

My name is Sarah Cronk. I'm sixteen years old and I attend Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. I am the middle child of three, and because my older brother has special needs, I am passionate about creating socially inclusive opportunities for teens with disabilities. I take every chance I get to spread the word that teens are uniquely positioned to help other teens. My motto: It’s cool to care.
