Well I just talked to my mom about volunteering at the animal shelter and she is going to see when i can start. It's a big commitment because not only do you have to take care of the animals, but you also have to give them their medicine which can lead people away from helping. This year for Global Youth Service Day I helped Haiti by going to a organization "Feed My Starving Children." I helped them by packing food which contains chicken,veggie,soy, and rice. Why do we only set aside one weekend for GYSD? To me, doing good should be a part of ones daily routines. If you are going to commit to something, be fully committed. I often wonder how many of the people on this site stick to what they start.
